this week i've been working on my banff national park order. they want only earth colours - brown, gold and green (when you look at the website you can see why). whenever i look at lots of greeens i think of emily carr and how surprised i was travelling to the west coast of canada for the first time in the late '60's and discovering that she hadn't made up those greens.
