good omens

the more research i do about san fransisco, the more excited i get (we leave for our trip this coming wed.) we'll be there to help celebrate the japanese cherry blossom festival that culminates next sunday with a grand parade. instead of floating in a pool looking out over old havana at sunset, i'm now picturing myself sipping green tea in the japanese tea garden in golden gate park, cherry blossoms falling on the table and into my tea cup.
as an artist, i need to travel. i need to seek out new inspiration. yesterday i sold 2 skeins of yarn - "the painted ladies of san fransisco" and "summer of love" both inspired by my san fransisco research. i have no doubt that this is going to be an exciting, stimulating trip...
