how to survive as an artist

last week my sister (thanks heather) notified me that chris tyrell was looking for an artist/craftsperson who's using etsy to sell their work - to interview and include in his 2nd volume of "artist survival skills" - a really essential manual for canadian artists who are trying to make a living from their work. so this week i had my phone interview (chris is based in vanvouver) - always an interesting exercise to explain what you do and why. the new book will be puplished next fall.
