borscht



every week at our tiny market there is some new vegetable that has been harvested. we have only two producers right now, but both local and both organic so i love getting my produce from them. yesterday it was beets from colette and in the rainy afternoon, knitting, with the fire going, i had a wonderful pot of borscht cooking.

Sounds so cozy and the borscht looks delicious! I love those days when you can just putter around the house with something on the stove.
