we are having an exceptionally cool summer here in newfoundland. it didn't stop eamon and his friend remy from swimming in blomidon brook yesterday.
on sunday eamon and i are heading to new york city for 5 days. we're going to visit robyn and her lovely children. there is a heat wave in nyc - temperatures reaching the high 30's for the past few days. i've lived in greece but the heat there is dry. eamon has never experienced hot weather. i hope there is a fire hydrant close to robyn's house!
