i have a cat. some of my friends don't even know this - or keep forgetting. because flora is elusive. very shy and skittish. and will run away when people come to the house. she's 13 this summer and slowing down. which is making her friendlier. you still can't pick her up. but occassionally she will come and curl up beside me on the couch while i'm knitting. yesterday's yarn "the calico cat" was inspired by her beautiful colours.
