hold him up to pee and poop. or eat and drink. he was losing bladder control. like a new puppy we'd have to take him outside every time he tried to get up just in case that's what he needed. if he was a human he would have been in a wheelchair with a catheter and he could have gone on living in his smaller and smaller world. tuesday he seemed agitated all day, but yesterday he was calm. he was so tired. we were with him when he got the needle and i know he felt our love.

So sorry to hear Shawn...you and Keith were good friends to Skipper. He was a lucky dog to have met you!
dear shawn i am so sorry. my heart is heavy for you
hi Shawn,
....thinking of you today.
take care.
Doing the right thing is not always easy. I love people more who show their dogs and animal companions compassion rather than selfishness.
May you be blessed.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you are ok.
