the games people play

childhood summer for me was cottage and rainy day board games. keith does not play games. so it was a delight to discover that my oldest grandson eamon
is now a scrabble fiend. the dining room table (usually holding my drum carder) has now been set up with the scrabble board and it will stay there for the next 2 weeks.

I enjoy Scrabble too, but I recently played with some of the residents of this retirement community and they all had cheat-sheets with little known short words for handy reference. That's not my idea of Scrabble at all. I won't play with them again. good luck to Eamonn.
