cleaning up

this is the time of year, after weeks of excess,that we all want to clean up. i want to pay attention to my house. a beautiful , quirky little house that deserves more respect. my hope is to go from room to room. clean and repair and refresh. so starting in the front hall. we're going to remove the 1950's lino tiles (so worn that they never look clean), and replace with ceramic. off to look for new tiles this morning.
and, today i start my 21 day kickstart vegan program. i did it last year and afterwards was able to stay away from cheese completely and cut way back on eggs and other dairy (i don't eat meat or fish anyway). it's a way of showing my body the same respect...
