the robins returned this past week - just in time for more snow! flocks of 40 at a time on the lawn, lifting large clumps of leaves with their beaks and discovering food underneath. eating the last remaining berries from the bushes. this morning is cold. they're all up in the trees. sitting still. bright and puffed up like christmas bulbs. waiting for spring...my "robin" yarn will be listed in my etsy shop today.
