this past month has been crazy busy. although we had managed to rake up the leaves and clean up the gardens and plant the garlic in october and november, we didn't get the greenhouse covered (to preserve the plastic for hopefully another year) or tie up the bushes (staked and wrapped in burlap in preparation for heavy snow). so yesterday, that's what we did.
