the dark ages

as an undergraduate art student, i took as many art history courses as i did studio courses. my favourite period was gothic with its spiritual simplicity.
this summer we watched ken follett's "pillars of the earth" - a wonderful 8 part hbo series on tv. and this fall i've been listening to the 32 disc audio presentation (that i got from the library) as i spin an knit. i finished it on friday and feel a little lost.

Hi Shawn,
I am so glad to hear that you are feeling better and getting back on track ... I have herd that this was very good. I loved my medieval art courses as well.
Thank you for stopping by ... you may me smile when you commented on "the Hunter's Moon"!
Best wishes and good luck for your final push!
Barbara

Shawn: I've been hoarding the audio book, waiting until I had enough days to get really involved in it. In your opinion, is it better to listen to it before the movie, or does it matter?? Thanks.
