a cool rainy summer's day

what to do on a cool rainy summer's day. with a six year old.
1. a walk to the library along the corner brook stream trail and past the swans in the glynmill inn pond.

2. making a wish at the fountain in sir richard squires' building (looks like they've reversed the decision of getting rid of the fountain.)

3. a quiet time in the library choosing picture books and picking up the 2nd book in "little house on the prairie".

4. starting a gift to give her cousin jessie (who she is missing).

5. dressing her doll julia (in her mum's old doll clothes) for the tea party at barb's

6.painting her own nails for the first time (for the party)

7. going up the street to barb's for licorise/mint tea and chocolate cookies with castles on them.
quite the perfect day.
